Is Las Vegas a Family Vacation destination?

I’ve visited Las Vegas a couple of times and while not a gambler; … The experience was thoroughly enjoyable.

There are so many WOW! wonders in and around Las Vegas that I’d certainly consider including Las Vegas in a family vacation and the prices are certainly manageable.

  • The whole ambience.

  • The breathtaking architecture.

  • World class shows.

  • Top drawer shopping.

  • Exploring inside the Hoover Dam.

  • History laden Old Towns.

I had no concerns about safety or crime since the City knows where their pot of gold is and closesly guards their guests.

Let’s allay my friend’s fears and help him make a qualified decision.

    1. I think Vegas is great. There is fabulous old car display,I spent an afternoon there.I went to a conference and spent most evenings in the casinos.I had $18.00 to spend.I came home with $29.00,after being there a week.Another time the family went with me.We spent some time at Hoover Dam and the Grand Canyon(fabulous). The kids were all young, they loved CIRCUS CIRCUS they could see us while we played. Now I understand there are whole hotels that cater to children. If your kids have had a healthy upbringing Vegas cannot corrupt them.Thats my opinion

    2. Las Vegas is something to see.

It was a more than I expected it to be when I
went and met up with some online pals. Even
Kitsch becomes something to see when there is
that much money thrown at it.

Some very different country there too, and
Las Vegas can be a cheap destination if you
      plan it right.

You don’t need to be gambling, if that isn’t
your thing, and there are lots of shows if they
      are your thing.

I imagine a time when there will be no Las Vegas
or perhaps no dormitory suburbs around it, since
the place is so ecologically unsustainable.

Maybe now’s the time to see it while you can. 😉
